W2 tool steel and hardened as a mizu honyaki, this blade reveals hamon brought out through a full convex mirror polish.
At 140 g with a 52 mm blade height, the knife feels light and responsive while maintaining stability through the spine. Distal taper from 2.5 mm at the heel to 1 mm near the tip gives precision without sacrificing strength.
