Honyaki Polish

Honyaki is monosteel.
There is no cladding to blend. Every detail is exposed.

Service can include:

• Geometry assessment and correction where required

• Full stone progression

• Controlled etching cycles to develop hamon contrast

• Natural stone and fingerstone refinement

• Surface correction from previous thinning or scratches

Etching is used as part of the process — controlled and repeatable — never to create activity that isn’t there.

Each blade is assessed individually. Structural correction is discussed before work begins.
